Avowed Marks First Month with Major Update, Enhanced Features

Just one month after its launch, including its inclusion in Game Pass, Obsidian and Xbox Game Studios have released an exciting new trailer for Avowed. This trailer not only celebrates the game but also features glowing reviews and quotes from gaming journalists, underscoring the positive reception of this action-RPG.

The latest update introduces support for DLSS 4, which includes Multi Frame Generation, Super Resolution, and DLAA. These cutting-edge technologies significantly boost performance, with NVIDIA showcasing up to a threefold increase in frame rates at maximum 4K settings, achieving speeds of up to 340 FPS. Furthermore, the developers have hinted at upcoming announcements regarding the game's future updates and roadmap in the coming weeks.

This update isn't solely about technical enhancements; it also focuses on improving the player experience. Players will now receive an extra talent point every five levels, and those who have already advanced will get these points automatically upon loading the game. Keyboard and mouse users can now switch between walking and running with ease, and a new accessibility feature allows for larger font sizes in documents, guides, and other in-game text, making the game more inclusive.

While Avowed didn't completely silence critics, it has still received robust reviews. Digital Foundry hailed the game as a technical "triumph," reinforcing its status as a remarkable title from Obsidian.
