After the tea ceremony, it's crucial to confront Wakasa, as she is revealed to be the Golden Teppo of the Onryo. By choosing to confront Wakasa, you'll streamline the mission. She will invite Naoe to her home for a private conversation, where you'll notice the kasa (straw hat) from the prologue hanging on her wall, confirming your choice. Following some dialogue, you can swiftly end the mission by taking Wakasa's Teppo from the wall and shooting her point-blank.

What If You Confront Otama in Assassin’s Creed Shadows?
Opting to confront Otama after the tea ceremony will still lead you to kill Wakasa, but it complicates the process. After mistakenly targeting Otama, Naoe will pursue and eliminate her, only to discover a letter proving Otama's corruption. However, this gives Wakasa time to fortify herself in Osaka Castle with her soldiers.
To reach Wakasa, you must navigate to Osaka Castle, either confronting her soldiers head-on or attempting to sneak past them. Even if you manage to get close enough for an assassination, you'll still face a one-on-one battle with Wakasa. While the boss fight isn't overly challenging, confronting Wakasa directly from the start offers a more straightforward and cinematically satisfying resolution, especially considering her role in Naoe’s father's death.
With the optimal decision for the Tea Ceremony mission in mind, consider learning how to gain XP and level up quickly in *Assassin’s Creed Shadows* to tackle the game's more demanding challenges. Additionally, explore ways to earn more Knowledge Points, which will allow you to unlock further skills for Naoe and Yasuke.
