Crusader Kings III Expands with Mongols and Asian Horizons

Paradox Interactive has unveiled an exciting lineup of content for *Crusader Kings III* throughout 2025, all part of Chapter IV. This chapter focuses on expanding the game's scope to include more Asian regions and mechanics, promising players a wealth of new experiences.

The journey begins with the recently launched cosmetic DLC, *Crowns of the World*. This pack, though small, brings a touch of style with six unique crowns, four hairstyles, and two beards, allowing players to further customize their rulers and add flair to their dynasties.

Come April 28, the first major DLC, *Khans of the Steppe*, will hit the scene. This expansion lets you step into the shoes of the Great Khan, leading a nomadic horde across the steppes. Conquer lands and establish your dominance over neighboring territories as you forge a vast empire.

Following that, *Coronations* is set to introduce a new ceremonial mechanic in Q3 (July–September). This feature allows players to legitimize their reign through grand coronation events. Host lavish festivities, make solemn vows, and chart the course of your kingdom. Additionally, new advisor and vassal events will enrich the political landscape, adding layers of depth to royal succession and governance.

The chapter will culminate with the release of *All Under Heaven*, a colossal expansion slated for later in the year. This DLC expands the game's map to encompass the entire East Asian region, featuring detailed representations of China, Korea, Japan, and the Indonesian islands. Players will have vast new territories to explore and conquer, opening up endless strategic possibilities.

Between these major releases, Paradox will roll out patches aimed at refining game systems and enhancing AI behavior.
