GFL2 TRANSFER PASSION: Does Pity Remain in the Sequel?

Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium's Pity System: Does it Carry Over Between Banners?

Developed by Sunborn, Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium is a free-to-play tactical RPG with gacha mechanics available on PC and mobile. A common question among players revolves around the pity counter and whether progress carries over between banners. The short answer is: yes, for limited banners.

Your pity counter and pulls from one limited-time banner will transfer to the next. For instance, during the global launch, the Suomi and Ullrid banners ran concurrently. Pity progress applied to both; pulls on one banner increased the pity counter for both. This means you could maximize your chances by strategically switching between banners when nearing pity. This carryover applies to all future limited-time banners.

However, this pity system does not extend to the standard banner. Progress on the standard banner will not affect your pity on limited banners, and vice versa.

While the hard pity is 80 pulls, a soft pity system begins at 58 pulls. After 58 pulls without an SSR unit, your chances of obtaining one gradually increase until you reach hard pity at 80.

In summary, your pity counter carries over between consecutive limited-time banners in Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium, but not between limited and standard banners.
