Legendary Pokémon Debut in Pokémon GO Tour: Unova Event

Get Ready for Black and White Kyurem in Pokémon GO!

The Pokémon GO Tour: Unova event, scheduled for March 1st and 2nd (10 AM to 6 PM local time), will feature the highly anticipated arrival of Black and White Kyurem! These legendary Pokémon will be available in raids, with shiny versions also appearing. The event will also offer special in-game backgrounds inspired by Pokémon Black and White.

Black and White Kyurem's debut has been highly anticipated by fans, following previous rumors and an accidental early release in 2023. Their arrival promises to significantly impact the game's meta.

Fusion Frenzy:

Similar to last year's Necrozma fusion, players can fuse Kyurem with other legendary Pokémon:

• Black Kyurem: Fuse with Zekrom using 1,000 Volt Fusion Energy, 30 Kyurem Candy, and 30 Zekrom Candy. Learns the move Freeze Shock.
• White Kyurem: Fuse with Reshiram using 1,000 Blaze Fusion Energy, 30 Kyurem Candy, and 30 Reshiram Candy. Learns the move Ice Burn.

Fusion Energy is earned by defeating Kyurem in raids. Separating the fused forms is free.

Event Exclusives:

Two unique event backgrounds, inspired by Pokémon Black and White, will be available. Unlocking both requires fusing both Black and White Kyurem with their respective partners. A third, unique background is awarded for completing both fusions.
