Best Peni Parker Decks in Marvel Snap

Peni Parker, the latest Marvel Rivals themed card in Marvel Snap, arrives after Galacta and Luna Snow. Familiar to Spider-Verse fans, Peni Parker is a ramp card with a unique twist.

Peni Parker's Gameplay Mechanics

Peni Parker (2 cost, 3 power) has the ability: "On Reveal: Add SP//dr to your hand. When this merges, you get +1 Energy next turn."

SP//dr (3 cost, 3 power) has the ability: "On Reveal: Merge with one of your cards here. You can move that card next turn."

Essentially, Peni Parker adds SP//dr, a movable card, to your hand. Merging any card with Peni Parker grants +1 energy for your next turn. This isn't limited to SP//dr; cards like Hulk Buster and Agony also trigger this effect. SP//dr's movement ability is only active the turn after merging.

Optimal Peni Parker Decks

Peni Parker's effectiveness requires strategic deck building. While a 5-energy investment for a merge and extra energy seems costly, synergies exist, particularly with Wiccan.

Deck 1: Wiccan Synergy Deck

This deck (Quicksilver, Fenris Wolf, Hawkeye, Kate Bishop, Peni Parker, Quake, Negasonic Teenage Warhead, Red Guardian, Gladiator, Shang-Chi, Wiccan, Gorr the God Butcher, Alioth) is expensive, requiring several Series 5 cards (Hawkeye, Kate Bishop, Wiccan, Gorr, Alioth). The core strategy involves playing Quicksilver and a 2-cost card (ideally Hawkeye or Peni Parker) to enable Wiccan's effect. Peni Parker adds consistency, allowing for flexible card choices. The deck offers multiple win conditions (Gorr, Alioth). Adaptations are possible based on your meta and collection.

Deck 2: Scream Move Deck

This deck (Agony, Kingpin, Kraven, Peni Parker, Scream, Juggernaut, Polaris, Spider-Man Miles Morales, Spider-Man, Cannonball, Alioth, Magneto) utilizes Peni Parker within a Scream move strategy. The extra energy and SP//dr's movement potential revitalize this previously dominant, but now slightly less effective, archetype. Key Series 5 cards are Scream, Cannonball, and Alioth (though Stegron might substitute). Mastering this deck demands predictive gameplay, manipulating opponent's cards. Peni Parker enables playing both Alioth and Magneto in a single game.

Is Peni Parker Worth the Investment?

Currently, Peni Parker's value is debatable. While generically strong, she lacks the immediate impact of other cards in the current Marvel Snap meta. Her potential will likely increase as the game evolves.
