Spider-Woman Joins Marvel Contest of Champions Amid Lumatrix Threat

Following the epic Dark Phoenix saga, Kabam has rolled out an exhilarating new update for Marvel Contest of Champions, introducing two thrilling additions: Spider-Woman and Lumatrix, the inaugural Eidol Champion of 2025. As they make their grand entrance, players are invited to dive into a plethora of new quests, special events, and the latest chapter of Act 9.2, all brimming with enticing rewards.

Spider-Woman will swing into action on April 17th, bringing her unique spider-enhanced abilities and espionage skills to The Contest. On the other hand, Lumatrix will debut on April 9th, captivating players as a dazzling yet deadly assassin crafted by The Founders. Lumatrix isn't just about flash; their mastery over light manipulation conceals a lethal edge. If you're eager to recruit Lumatrix, you'll need to gather Light Essence from Battlegrounds, Saga Incursions, and Raids. The event to acquire Lumatrix will run until June 4th.

The new quest, Spy Games, pits Black Widow alongside Spider-Woman to unravel the mysteries surrounding the arrival of the Eidols. This tale of espionage and intrigue, filled with danger at every corner, will unfold from March 9th to May 7th.

Deadpool also joins the fray with Red & Dead's Discount Shed, running from April 25th to May 2nd. Convinced by Red Guardian, Deadpool offers a treasure trove of special rewards, including event currency, crystals, and bonuses. Following closely, the Heart of Fire Sale from May 7th to 14th offers players a chance to snag valuable Champions and rewards via Heart of Fire crystals.

Later this month, the Thunderbolts Daily Super Event will spice up the seven-day supply drop, running from April 18th through May 2nd. Completing milestones in this event will earn you Poolshields, which can be traded for rewards during Red & Dead's Discount Shed. Additionally, daily supply drops will be available from April 25th to May 23rd, ensuring that regular logins lead to more free rewards.
