What is Suikoden I & II HD Remaster?

Originally released on the PlayStation, Suikoden I debuted in Japan in 1995, followed by Suikoden II in 1998. Both games arrived in the West a year later. The core gameplay revolves around recruiting 108 warriors to build an army and combat evil forces.

This remaster retains the original pixelated graphics, now optimized for modern widescreen displays. The spell effects have been enhanced for smoother visuals, and character portraits have been redrawn in HD. Beyond the visual improvements, players can now speed up battles or use an auto-battle mode, enjoy auto-save features, access a conversation log, and benefit from a revamped UI that simplifies tasks like changing equipment.
