A West African strategy game
Known as Awale, Ayo, or Oware, this game belongs to the Mancala family. It shares similarities with East African games like Omweso, Bao, and Igisoro.
Awale uses two rows of eight holes each, with a total of 64 playing pieces. Each player controls the row of holes closest to them.
The objective is to capture the opponent's pieces, aiming to prevent them from making any further moves.
Other games in the Mancala family include Ayo, Kisoro, and Omweso. It's believed that Mancala games originated in Ethiopia during the Aksumite Kingdom.

A fascinating game that really challenges your strategic thinking! The interface is clean and easy to use. I'd love to see more options for online multiplayer though.
