Albion Online Announces Abyssal Depths Update Launch Date

Albion Online has officially announced the launch date for its latest major update, Abyssal Depths, bringing players a thrilling descent into uncharted underground territory. The update arrives on Android devices on June 30, delivering fresh PvP mechanics, fiery new mounts, and an immersive dungeon experience designed for small teams.

What’s in Store?

At the heart of this update is the Depths—a brand-new extraction-style dungeon crafted for groups of two to three players. This close-quarters PvP environment introduces high-stakes combat where your gear remains secure. Under the new Orange PvP rules, only the items you're carrying are at risk upon death, not your equipped gear. This change makes PvP more accessible and less punishing, encouraging even cautious players to join the fray.

Once the dungeon begins, you'll face off against both demons and rival players as you battle for powerful buffs and gather Souls. The climax of each run centers around a tense PvP showdown over a locked vault before the entire area collapses.

The Depths also integrate into a broader system known as the Antiquarian’s Den, an all-new underground base that connects directly with the Depths, Corrupted Dungeons, and Hellgates. Accessible from every Royal City and Caerleon, the Den offers faster matchmaking and includes a convenient bank nearby for quick resource management.

Inside the Den, players will encounter the mysterious Antiquarian, a shadowy figure who tracks your progress. The more you engage in combat within the Depths and other infernal zones, the higher your Antiquarian Standing climbs.

Rewards include a set of hell-themed avatars and avatar rings, along with Demon Cape crests spanning Tier 4 through Tier 8. For those seeking unique transportation, the update features two exclusive spider mounts: the Hellspinner and the Soulspinner.
