Since its launch over a month ago, Assassin’s Creed Shadows (AC Shadows) has captured the hearts of gamers worldwide. Ubisoft is committed to enhancing the game further with a series of updates announced via Twitter (X) on May 1. The year 1 post-launch roadmap is packed with new story and gameplay content.

A highlight of the roadmap is the introduction of new Story Drops. These are multiple free content additions that will enrich the game. Ubisoft explains, "These new free quests will introduce new player abilities, new allies, new world activities, and provide deeper looks and backstories for some of your favorite characters, each new piece of content expanding on the main game."

In addition to the Story Drops, Ubisoft is gearing up for the release of their first expansion, The Claws of Awaji, later this year. This DLC will transport players to the island of Awaji, a fresh region to explore post-epilogue. Expect to encounter new enemies, unlock new abilities for both protagonists, and wield an exclusive new weapon for Naoe.
