"Co-op Puzzle Thriller 'Parallel Experiment' Hits Mobile Soon"
As we approach 2025, gamers have much to look forward to, with the highly anticipated release of the co-op puzzle crime thriller, Parallel Experiment, by developer Eleven Puzzles. Set to launch on Steam this March, the game is also slated to release a demo on iOS and Android later this year, with a full mobile release hopefully soon to follow.
If you enjoy cooperative puzzlers like Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes, you'll find Parallel Experiment intriguing. As detectives Ally and Old Dog, players will navigate through separate locations, relying on communication to share clues and solve over 80 puzzles together. The game introduces an in-game notebook for tracking clues, cooperative dialogue, and a unique noir comic book aesthetic. Additionally, players can engage in playful interactions like knocking on windows or poking their partner, adding a fun twist to the experience.
A key feature that sets Parallel Experiment apart is its crossplay functionality, allowing seamless multiplayer experiences across different platforms. While desktop players might use tools like Discord, the game's design also accommodates players in the same room, offering creative ways to interact and communicate—or perhaps distract—your partner.
While the concept of co-op puzzle games isn't new, Parallel Experiment benefits from years of refinement within the genre, promising an optimized and engaging experience, especially when it arrives on mobile devices.
