The legendary strategy game series expands further with *Age of Empires Mobile* unveiling its innovative Mercenaries System. This new feature empowers players with greater control and strength over their armies, enhancing the gameplay experience.

At Level 26, players gain access to the Mercenary Camp, where they can hire and enlist formidable mercenary units. These units come with their own unique technologies, which players can unlock and enhance, adding a strategic depth exclusive to these elite warriors.

Each mercenary group boasts distinct special skills, detailed as follows:

Byzantine Cataphract:

• Increase the damage of all hero skills of the army by [2%]

Swiss Pikeman:

• Increase the probability of triggering the hero’s pursuit/active skills of all troops by [1%]
• Reduce all damage received by troops by [2%]

Korean Archer:

• Increase the probability of triggering the hero’s pursuit/active skills of all troops by [1%]
• Reduce all damage received by troops by [2%]

Players can claim their first Mercenaries at no cost by participating in a special event, which is currently active alongside the system's launch.
