Niantic has unveiled the exciting details for Pokémon GO Fest 2025, along with two additional January events. Let's dive into the upcoming festivities!

Pokémon GO Fest 2025: A Global Celebration

The Pokémon GO Fest 2025 extravaganza will span three days in three different cities:

• Osaka, Japan: May 29th - June 1st
• Jersey City, New Jersey, USA: June 6th - June 8th
• Paris, France: June 13th - June 15th

A World of Pokémon Awaits!

Pokémon GO Fest is renowned for its exclusive in-game content, special bonuses, and the chance to catch rare Pokémon unavailable through regular gameplay. Past events have featured legendary Pokémon like Dusk Mane Necrozma, Dawn Wings Necrozma, and Marshadow. Expect increased Shiny Pokémon rates, too!

In-person attendees can enjoy exclusive merchandise, habitat-themed goodies, community hubs, and team lounges—creating a memorable experience for trainers worldwide. While specifics for 2025 are still under wraps, expect a similar level of excitement to previous years.

Two More January Events!

Beyond the GO Fest announcement, Niantic revealed two more exciting events for January 2025:

• Fashion Week: Taken Over: January 15th (12:00 pm) - January 19th (8:00 pm) local time. Capture Shadow Palkia, encounter debuting Pokémon Shroodle and Grafaiai (from 12 km Eggs), and more! Look out for a fashionable Croagunk in snapshots!

• Shadow Raid Day (Ho-Oh): January 19th (2:00 pm - 5:00 pm) local time. Challenge Five-Star Shadow Raids for a chance to catch Shadow Ho-Oh. A $5 ticket grants eight Raid Passes, increased Rare Candy XL chances, 2x Stardust, 50% more XP from Raids, and a boosted Shiny Ho-Oh encounter rate. Lucky catches can learn the exclusive move, Sacred Fire!
