Seedsow Lullaby: A Deeply Emotional Visual Novel Now Available on Android

Aniplex, the renowned Japanese studio behind visual novels such as Adabana Odd Tales, has released a new visual novel titled Seedsow Lullaby. This captivating game is now available globally on Android and weaves an intricate, time-bending narrative that spans three generations of a single family.

Seedsow Lullaby Is Definitely Emotional

Seedsow Lullaby delves deeply into themes of family and its profound significance. The story follows Misuzu, a 16-year-old girl who lost her mother at a young age. In the year 2023, Misuzu's life takes a dramatic turn when she is visited by a girl claiming to be her mother, Yoko, who is also 16 but has traveled from the year 1996.

Yoko informs Misuzu that they have been chosen to participate in the Seedsow Ceremony, a ritual funeral for the gods aimed at preventing True Winter, an evil spirit that threatens the gods' realm. The narrative then propels Misuzu into the future to the year 2050, where she meets her own daughter, Tsumugi, who is also 16. Accompanying them is Hiruko, a mysterious boy who claims to be Yoko’s miscarried son and Misuzu’s unborn brother.

The setting for the Seedsow Ceremony is the Eternal Realm, a home to the gods characterized by its vibrant and diverse landscapes. This realm forms the core backdrop for the entire concept of Seedsow Lullaby.

The Game Is More Like a Japanese Animated Movie

The standout features of Seedsow Lullaby are its compelling story and stunning art. The game's visuals, with characters traversing various beautifully crafted backgrounds, enhance the feeling of a grand journey. The aesthetic quality is reminiscent of high-quality Japanese animations, making the experience truly immersive.

Despite being a visual novel, Seedsow Lullaby does not include choices or branching paths, maintaining a linear narrative. The game is available in English, Japanese, and simplified Chinese, and can be downloaded for free from the Google Play Store.
