The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Ti made its official debut on April 16 as the most affordable Blackwell GPU on the market. However, similar to previous launches, this proved to be another "paper" release, with retail units scarce and heavily marked up. On the bright side, if you're in the market for a prebuilt gaming PC featuring this GPU, your options are far more promising. There are numerous prebuilt systems readily available, and surprisingly, they come at competitive prices. The two most budget-friendly models we’ve identified so far are both Skytech configurations available on Amazon, starting at $1,249.99—a great deal for a contemporary 1080p/1440p gaming setup.

The RTX 5060 Ti succeeds the RTX 4060 Ti, delivering approximately a 15%-20% performance improvement in games—a stronger generational leap compared to the RTX 5070 over the RTX 4070. From a value standpoint, this is the ideal Blackwell card for 1080p gaming, while still being capable of handling 1440p with ease, especially when DLSS 4 is enabled. Although the RTX 5070 offers superior power, prebuilt systems featuring it typically cost between $1,700 and $1,800. For gamers targeting resolutions of 1440p or lower, the premium isn’t always justified.

GeForce RTX 5060 Ti Review by James Archer (Rock Paper Shotgun):

“The RTX 5060 Ti continues the venerable XX60 Ti tradition of offering smooth yet budget-conscious 1440p performance. Compared to the pricier RTX 5070, it pushes native-resolution, pre-DLSS framerates further than the 40-series GPUs ever did.

Thus, the RTX 5060 Ti stands out as one of the more successful RTX 50 series GPUs, making it the go-to choice for budget-conscious 1440p gaming.”
