Expedition Discovery and Mechanics

Runic Monsters and Excavated Chests have a chance to drop Expedition Logbooks. Use these with Dannig in your hideout to access Expedition Pinnacle Maps – significantly larger events with more Explosives.

These maps feature Olroth, a Pinnacle Boss (indicated by a skull on the minimap). Defeating Olroth awards 2x Expedition Passive Skill Tree points, valuable currency, and a chance at unique items. The higher the map level, the greater the chance of Olroth appearing.

Located within the Atlas Passive Skill Tree, the Expedition Passive Skill Tree enhances rewards and difficulty. It features Notable nodes and difficulty-increasing nodes for Logbooks. Beating Olroth grants 2x skill points.
