WoW: Midnight Unveils Flexible Housing Options

Blizzard has recently unveiled exciting details about the upcoming in-game housing system in *World of Warcraft: Midnight*. Although the expansion is slated to release post-*The War Within* as part of the Worldsoul saga, the early previews have sparked significant anticipation among players due to the extensive customization options on offer.

A developer blog recently showcased in-game footage demonstrating the intricacies of furniture placement. The system uses a grid that allows items to automatically snap into place, ensuring a seamless design experience. Players can also adorn larger pieces like shelves or tables with smaller decorative items, which remain attached even when the larger piece is moved around.

The housing system is divided into two distinct modes: **Basic Mode** for those who prefer a straightforward approach to organizing their space, and **Advanced Mode** tailored for creative builders. In Advanced Mode, users gain the ability to rotate objects along all three axes and stack them in innovative ways, facilitating the creation of complex and visually appealing interiors.

Another innovative feature is the ability to scale objects to suit different character sizes. This means that smaller races like gnomes can create more intimate, cozy spaces, whereas larger races such as tauren can design more expansive layouts. Additionally, certain furniture items specifically designed for this housing system will support recoloring, although this feature may not extend to older, legacy assets.

With *Midnight* still months away, Blizzard is keeping the community engaged by steadily releasing teasers about the forthcoming content, heightening anticipation and excitement for the game's future updates.
