Monster Hunter Wilds Surpassed 8 Million Units in 3 Days
Monster Hunter Wilds Is Now Capcom’s Fastest Selling Game
Monster Hunter Wilds (MH Wilds) has soared to new heights, becoming Capcom's fastest-selling game by selling over 8 million units within just 3 days of its release. Capcom proudly announced this milestone on their official website, marking a historic moment for the company.
The game's success is evident on platforms like Steam, where it achieved over 1.3 million concurrent players shortly after launch, despite receiving mixed reviews. Capcom credits this achievement to their extensive promotional efforts, including participation in global video game events and an open beta test that allowed players to experience the game firsthand.
Latest Update Addressed Game-Breaking Bug
In response to player feedback, Capcom has released a crucial update for Monster Hunter Wilds. On March 4, 2025, the Monster Hunter Status official support account on Twitter (X) announced the availability of hot fix patch Ver.1.000.04.00 across all platforms.
This update tackles several bugs that were hindering player progress, including issues with the "Grill a Meal" and "Ingredient Center" features not unlocking as intended, the Monster Field Guide being inaccessible, and a critical bug that blocked story progression in Chapter 5-2, "A World Turned Upside Down." Players are required to update the game to continue enjoying online play.
However, some bugs remain unresolved, such as network errors triggered by firing an SOS flare after a quest begins, and Palico’s blunt weapon attacks failing to inflict stun and exhaust damages. These multiplayer-related issues are expected to be addressed in a forthcoming patch.
