Monster Hunter Wilds Patch 1.000.05.00 Resolves Quest Issues, No Performance Boost Yet
Capcom has rolled out a hotfix update for Monster Hunter Wilds, version 1.000.05.00, available across all platforms. This patch focuses on resolving critical issues and improving the overall gameplay experience, though it does not introduce any performance optimizations according to the patch notes.
Despite the record-breaking launch of Monster Hunter Wilds, the game currently holds a mixed reception on Steam, primarily due to reported performance hiccups on PC. Regardless, the game has achieved remarkable success, selling 8 million copies within three days—a testament to its popularity. The game also boasts the fifth-highest concurrent player count on Steam, reaching an impressive 1,384,608 at its peak.
Looking ahead, Capcom plans to release a major title update in early April, introducing a new endgame area and additional monster hunting content for players.
